International Market - This was one of the most memorable highlights of our time with Matt and the Sense of Place crew.
International Market is a local landmark, owned and operated by Patti Mynt. She opened for business at her Belmont Boulevard location 43 years ago and still works there every day. We have been regular customers for over 20 of those years.
Patti is a local legend, not only for creating some of the best Thai cuisine in Nashville, she is also know as the "Mom" for many Belmont University students, local artists and musicians.
Some Notes for our guests:
#1 Try the buffet! Absolutely a feast for the eyes as well as the palette. The price of each item has not increase for decades.

#3 The Best Hangover cure - Composed of over 20 small bowls of finely chopped items, peanuts, pineapple, basil, mint, chili peppers, kaffir lime leaf, cucumber cubes, diced carrots, pickled ginger, long bean, celery, garlic, pickled garlic, cilantro, rice noodles, accompanying lettuce leaves and a selection of meat.
This feast is available only for groups of four or more and requires advance notice.

When we arrived with the Sense of Place crew, Patti took over and with a smile, said "let me do this!" She pulled out all the stops and brought one dish after another of pure delight. If you make your way to Nashville, just go here.
